![]() ![]() Where folklore meets an enjoyably unagitated – but yet stirring – punk attitude, there is something to be found for (almost) everybody. That this mixture is working well and that the “musical gas pedal” doesn’t always have to be “pushed through to the maximum”, they have already proven with their acoustic album “A Trainload Full Of Stout” (2009) and many times at their live concerts. This is achieved by impulsive drums, the maltreated strings of electric guitars and bass and the support of the bagpipers “The Independent Pipers”. ![]() Instead of annoying their audiences with rockstar airs and graces, the three Swiss mates Chris, Ritchie and Lexu are attracting attention with their music, which is sometimes resembling the Pogues or Green Day – without losing it’s own identity – and at other times resembling Scottish-Irish traditional songs.
